Clinical Pilates

Evidence has shown that Pilates training has been proven to reduce pain, decrease injury and re-injury risk, assist rehabilitation, improve strength and balance, and aid in relaxation and wellbeing.

DO YOU WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR POSTURE AND FLEXIBILITY, REDUCE PAIN, AND INCREASE TONE AND STRENGTH?   A Clinical Pilates program will address these key factors along with other injury concerns that require rehabilitation.   Our Physiotherapists spend time discussing, understanding and assessing your physical capacity and work with you to create a customised program to achieve the best possible outcome.   At West Active we use a combination of reformer and trapeze spring resisted equipment, and floor based Pilates exercises to train the body’s control of deep postural muscles and normalise movement and function. This is conducted by a physiotherapist with specialist training in Clinical Pilates.
